The Bible declares that God finished his work in 6 days and then entered his rest (Genesis 2:2). Now, He is waiting for us to enter that divine rest obediently holy. In Matthew 6:33 it says; “First seek his kingdom and righteousness and then everything will be added unto you”. But man seems rebellious wanting things in his own ways – and thus manipulating the word of God to his own convenience. How can it be possible to compromise or bend God? Since we have the unfinished work with the Lord, it is difficult to receive our desired blessings in this world, since the relationship with God is so important to untie the abundance. Moreover, as per the bible, it is imperative that the mindset of people must change suitably with the right faith and belief in Jesus Christ, the son, in order to connect with God.
The word of God says in Matthew 11:28; “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” – a great invitation from the Lord for those who are chosen in Christ. Besides, believe in our heart that God has done his work long time ago – and He is waiting for us, as many are still resisting and rebelling to come to his rest. In other words, every situation of our unbelief is the result of our disobedience in the word of God. Therefore, tune in to the new man, aligned with right faith, and thus availing God’s outpouring grace, which strengthens us to reach His finished work and then finally into His rest (the essence from Hebrews 4:11). Meditate on the word of God day and night as our faith will soar up to heights of salvation. So again, come to his rest, as He will reward everyone who seeks him diligently. Amen
