Why ‘Law’ is transformed to ‘Faith’ in the New Testament:

“You are under a curse” – curse of the law, since you didn’t obey the law of the Lord, says the Bible in Galatians 3:10-13, Deuteronomy 28:15, Malachi 3:9, and in Genesis 4:11. These mentioned verses clearly talk about the curses which come upon the people on earth, who do not revere or consider obeying the law of God in the Old Testament. The word of God says in Romans 4:14-15 – “If those who depend on the law are heirs of God, then faith means nothing and the promise through Christ is worthless. And where there is no law, there is no transgression”. Furthermore, Jesus said in Matthew 5:17; “I didn’t come to abolish the law and the prophets instead to fulfill the law” – In fact, Jesus was commissioned to do this difficult part of the law for our sake, since God has spoken in the past to our forefathers to fulfill the given law as a requirement. That is exactly why Jesus, being the son of God, has to go through the pain of death – and it says in Galatians 3:13; “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole”.

It is recommended as well to look what Romans 10:4 says; “Christ is the culmination (end) of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. When talking about fulfilling the law, it is imperative to read and understand what is written in Romans 8:1-4, which says; “Therefore, there is now no condemnation (of law or the curse of the law) for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit”.

In a sense, this fulfillment process of law is transferred to each and every believer by living in the word of God with the true belief in Jesus Christ, the son. In addition, it is mentioned in 1Timothy1:8-9 that – “Law is good if it used properly and also it is not made for the righteous people instead for the unrighteous”. Therefore, understand that being a true believer, you’re in grace through the faith given in Jesus Christ, while it’s same for all the appointed people since the bible calls them “chosen” or “His sheep” – and the scriptures certify in Galatians 5:18 that; “if you are led by the spirit, or the law of spirit, you are not under the law”. Amen
