“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prosper.” (Psalms 1:1-3)
The bible-theory of righteousness seems quite difficult to many! Who can be then righteous in front of God, they ask? As per the bible, those who are chosen are made righteous – and that is absolutely the work of the Lord, for anyone not to boast and take credit of it. In other words, true believers are protected ever since God is in control – Though they may fail, they are always forgiven as they are given the true spirit of repentance to correct themselves. It is written in John 10:27-18, NIV-Bible; “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.”
It is not a mistake that you’re a believer – but surely the purpose of the Lord to have you worthy in His realm. And if you’re living in his words without turning from it left or right, it is definitely the work of the Lord to make you prosper. The word of God says in Romans 2:12-13; “All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous”. And certainly, the word of God is the law in the New Covenant Faith. Therefore, rejoice every moment that you are righteous, in front of God and men because of your rightful deeds, through obedience to the word of God. Amen
