In these present days, many are seemingly restless as they meander for nothing – never satisfied to the point that they have everything an average person should ever possess! When examined in detail, the culprit is not their unfulfilled desires, but the missing connection towards the true God and faith. It is natural or rather inevitable that every creation should have an imminent desire to reach back its creator, to be peaceful and satisfied in this life.
Apparently, the good plan and the purpose of God towards maintaining the righteous are often overlooked and then given to the vague doctrines of men who teach the prosperity as possessions. This concept has landed many believers in frustration as they were manipulated all around in the hands of religious leaders allegedly. In fact, Satan has taken his toll as many have fallen for the beauty of the visible things on earth – a well crafted lie of the devil as he misinterpreted the word of God as a tool for achieving various unhealthy desires on earth. When the bible talks about the unbelievers, it is not talking about the non-Christians; it is all about the unbelief among the believers itself.
It is written in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18; “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all; So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal”.
Therefore, when we have troubles on this earth, endure it and learn from it for a better tomorrow as we are cleansed constantly for the glory of the Lord. Furthermore, do not claim the word of God unnecessarily if there is no true repentance within our hearts – as a matter of fact, one should repent not to repeat the same mistakes, which reciprocally makes the term ‘repent’ void, in the sight of the Lord. The word of God says in 2 Corinthians 4:3-4; “And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God”. Besides, no one can ever come to the Lord, unless he or she is chosen or predestined in Christ Jesus (a basic bible-principle to be considered). Amen.
