“Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life”.
This is the testimony of God about His son. If anyone does not accept this truth, is making God out to be a liar. And the acceptance of this testimony in fact makes every believer to live righteously or to obey His commands unconditionally. If anyone claims to accept Son Jesus and does not obey or live in His commands; thus, not only making God a liar but also nullifying oneself as a true Christian.
According to the bible anyone who believes in the Son Jesus Christ has life and the power, to overcome the world. This is the victory in our faith – since the one we have in faith has overcome the world (1 John 5:4-5). Besides, the bible says, those who are truly in Christ, follows and obeys his commands. It sounds more like that those who are in real faith are programmed to be obedient – which leads to a conviction for loving God evermore, as it compromises the fact that all the commands of God are not burdensome.
The awesomely splendid narration of Jesus Christ “The vine and the branches” in John 15:1-4, confirms the fact that He is the only way for the completeness in God, who portrayed as a gardener. The explanation of pruning the branches for bearing more fruits is an added assurance for all the believers who are waiting for the Lord. The word of God says in John 15:10-11; “If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete”. Even though, the scriptures are clear in shaping-up a believer to the perfection, many are yet confused or not ready to accept or recognize certain hardships in life, as His divine pruning process.
It is knowledge to know the Lord and His precepts, and it is wisdom to obey His commands with humility and obedience. As per the bible, if you obey Lord’s commands, our joy may be complete in His love. Be reminded that God chose us to be His children only to do good since He has predestined us in Christ Jesus for His own glory. Amen
