The word of God says in Luke 6:43-45; “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thorn-bushes, or grapes from briers. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of”. A great message from the Lord to recognize the unrighteousness in this world! It is suitably right and reasonably wise to stand for the Lord along with the observance of His commands; not to bear bad fruits while claiming as the saints.
Since the stages of true repentance precede the acceptance of the true faith which enables the believers to reject the evil, I suppose no one could claim the forgiveness again and again once enlightened with the spirit. If anyone’s circumstances facilitate such moments, it is the clear evidence of a lukewarm faith. In simple words, the genuine faith cannot betray the Lord to the extent that the believer seeks forgiveness frequently. It is written in John 10:27-28; “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand”. It is very difficult for a true believer to continue in the sin – and there is nothing like a righteous person possibly could ride on two boats at the same time.
Nevertheless, the chosen theory of the Lord ever prevails as it confirms the good works of a man is the providence of the Lord – thus cancelling the proposed choice of the humanity in terms of trust and righteousness. Amen
