The Will of God

The word of God is final and sharper than a double edge sword, the Bible declares. In simple words, it cuts in two ways – those who use it will surely eat the fruit of it, either good or bad depending on the level of their worthiness in terms of true faith and righteousness. It is good and appropriate to do the will of the God and that's what the Bible always stands for. But many people often find it difficult to know what the will of God is.

According to the bible, “unless God the father draws people near, no one can come to his son Jesus”: this is a clear indication that no one can come to the Lord Jesus by themselves, or neither could bring anyone to Him. It is more like, doing right while you are good. As per the word, only the righteousness of God allows His people to do good things. Though Lord God uses many ways and people of this world to accomplish his divine plan and purpose, it is only He who can change things and people around. It is now time to understand how the heavens work in terms of selection. To be more precise, we do not have any choice, but the Lord – it says in John 15:16; “ You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you”.

Some say that preaching or propagating the gospel is the ultimate good thing in terms of Lord’s discipleship. As a matter of fact, preaching the word is the proclamation of one's faith publicly and absolutely nothing more than it. Even the bible says to watch out for the imposters – thus making it more difficult to discern people who preach. Again, getting people closer to God is the work of the Lord himself. And let no man take the pride and credit in that work of the Lord, says the Bible. Hypothetically, it’s not that God loves those who do His will; instead He will let the chosen people to love Him and consequently makes them to do his will, surely out of His great love. In other words, the will of God is the righteousness of God, which is in Christ Jesus, who lives inside and among the chosen people. Amen
