The Gospel unplugged:

Apparently, many are ignorant of the fundamentals yet in the good-news, faith, grace and salvation mentioned in the bible, though even some managed to earn the title ‘staunch believer’. And when it comes to the variations of sins one could possibly ever commit, the contemplating edge in the grace of God is misunderstood and altered widely as a license to sin – where the tacit believers consider that the salvation of God is guaranteed to anyone and everyone with a mild lip-confession (Romans 10:9). But in reality, believing and then confessing by mouth is an aftermath effect of an absolute faith and righteous living of a believer (**John 7:38).

The Good-News of the Lord is not necessarily good if not understood its actual meaning essentially; in fact, it’s the divine proclamation or the call of the Lord for His chosen people. On the other hand, many are frantic about spreading the Gospel these days, while the true sense of its impression is often misplaced for insignificant factors that are contrary to various bible principles and teachings. As a fact, all the missionary works and evangelistic movements in the world are then considered vain and non-scripted according to the bible if the objective is not the righteousness in the Lord together with all the precepts.

Let’s see what the Apostle Paul has said about the true gospel in the written words of Colossians 1:21-23; “once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death, to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant”. As per the above verses, it is very clear that unless we reconcile to God and then continue in that faith steady and firm, we are not presented holy in His sight to be freed from all accusations.

Therefore, understand and learn the real gospel message from the bible and then submit ourselves to God with much humility and willingness, as He will reconcile us if worthy according to his good plan and purpose. And the unfailing grace of God will flow freely to fulfill the written words of God, which says “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God”. Amen
