Is Righteousness a Myth?

According to the bible, God is righteous and He wants his people to be righteous as well. As perceived universally, it is hard to be righteous, especially when the word-meaning of ‘righteous’ is understood as observing the godly laws meticulously while being faultless and upright. For the commoners the thought of righteousness is doing the right-thing preferably in any given situation, and it depends on their understanding, limits and beliefs, which I guess corresponds somewhat to their choice religion they have opted including someone with the scope of atheism.

Some believe or affirm that religion is man-made; and so does the concept of God and his righteousness. But for a second thought, without the divine intervention, no man is able to describe or demonstrate the divinity of any God of any form in their lives – even the bible claims the same regarding its various authors who are indubitably inspired by the Holy Ghost. In other words, it is impossible to teach the real righteousness or the right-thing of a choice-religion or belief unless they are destined for it as planned from above. When it comes to the religion of Christianity, this concept matches very well with the written words in John 6:44-45, which says; “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me”.

The time has come to recognize that there is a considerable difference between the groups of elect and commoners as per the bible. And since there are yet to be added as chosen from the ordinary group of people in the fulfillment of its time, no room for discrimination or judging others with regards to unrighteousness. In a nutshell, once you were called, the divine wisdom is taught individually by the Lord, to do the right-thing as you were cleansed through and through daily with His precepts (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24). It is worthwhile perhaps believing that what is given to you is the heavenly wisdom – to learn from it for the purpose of building a warrior within – to fight and resist the devil day after day.

Therefore, righteousness could be a myth for the non-believers; but for the true saints of God it is the tool for achieving the eternal life in full glory. Some might fret on the idea of being glorified in the end – and it is essential to understand as we look the term ‘glorified’, which is the fulfillment of any creation for the purpose that is created for. Once again, no one is righteous by birth, but the righteousness of God or the decree of the Lord is given to those who are called out of the darkness. It is not the work of men; it is the work of the Lord to make the chosen to be righteous – as He will cleanse them day after day until the great day in the end. And the bible declares that my sheep listen to my voice and I will not let them go astray – as it is written and affirms in John 10:27-29 says; “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand”. Amen
