There are misapprehensions on the thought of faith or belief when it comes to the idea of Salvation in these days. And both commoners and believers are constantly searching for answers, as if something is missing in their life. The Bible declares that, even to contemplate the concept of God’s love and reconciliation process, one should necessarily attain a strong faith in Jesus Christ first. Even though scriptures give various details, it is clear that no one can learn or understand its fundamentals unless God allows it. The word of God says in John 6:44, NIV-Bible; “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
It was quite inspiring for true believers, when the Apostle Paul gives a strong testimony through the written words in Colossians 1:21-23; “Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds and hearts because of your evil deeds. But now God has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death, to present you holy and acceptable in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation. If you continue in your faith, grounded and firm, and do not change or move from the gospel that you have heard – which was proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a minster.”
The above verses in fact depict the conviction of an individual without undermining the divinity of God. Moreover, it’s a real call for every believer to continue in the faith and hope righteously till the end; unlike many other teachings that propose the one time confession to attain the salvation. Truth to be told – it is God who chooses the people, as He calls them in a timely fashion – He has done it in the past, and He is doing it largely in the present, and He will surely will do it in the future. Amen
