Only one mediator between God and mankind:

It is written in 1Timothy 2:5-6; “There is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time”.

The word of God declares that our center point should be Jesus and Jesus alone. In other words, instead of going after various innovative methods for accomplishing the Bible promises, go after Jesus and His teachings more and more. There are no shortcuts to reach God other than Jesus Christ, the appointed mediator, as declared in the bible. When it comes to the real faith, nothing of this world and its system is good enough to please or reach God, except through the obedience in the word. And for the true believers, there is no exception – only to live and die for the Lord!

According to the bible, when we plant anything in this world, we have to reap its fruits at a certain time *Genesis 8:22*. Everything in this world follows this pattern. And godly matters are no different from it, as believers routinely sow and reap righteousness in their lives as recommended by the bible. Undoubtedly, our planting and reaping is done through the son Jesus Christ and His teachings alone – as it is written in John 3:35- 36: “The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them”.

Being said that, for the saints of the Lord, submitting ourselves to the Lord is our planting, and our reaping is the eternal glory with the Lord in the end. It is well written in the New Covenant faith for all the saints to understand and to observe this pattern of offering or giving – that is to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is our true and proper worship (Romans 12:1). And if we are in God’s love, all our needs are taken care of – if we truly believe in Jesus Christ. In fact, there is no any definite percentage to offer to the Lord in this New Covenant faith unlike the past. To be precise, with our renewed spirit of Jesus Christ, we are welcome to give hundred percent of ourselves, if we could stand that holy grace. Remember, it is not the money and other material offerings that the bible is talking about in this New Covenant, but our hearts and its dedication to the Lord, along with obedience in the word. Therefore, trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, our only mediator, and reject everything that hinders this truth. Amen
