When God abandoned Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, they were left alone to live in the midst of the world’s dangers. But, the hands of the Lord were with them and with their descendants ever since, as they were able to reap the goodness of God by the obedience in His decrees. In a sense, their faith and submissiveness to God is considered as light of righteousness– where that light shown them always the right path in the darkness or in troubles. This pattern continued till the present days as we give glory to God through His words and the appropriate actions in faith. Mind you, actions of faith mean; living or practicing strictly in the word of God. Being true believers we’re shaped to demonstrate the light of our godliness regardless of the place and time involved, supposedly – to be identified, and then to be sealed as saints of the Lord. To be precise, if we happened to be in the midst of the ungodly, do not adapt to their ungodliness for any cause.
The word of God says in John 3:19-21, NIV-Bible; “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.” Therefore, be the light, and your light will shine anywhere and everywhere you go. Certainly, the hand of the Lord will there always to comfort and guide you in that light. Those who have ears, let them hear. Amen
