Pain, suffering and condemnation:

Challenging our faith through hardships in life could be the way and substance of God's disciplining. And there is no point in arguing about God's rebukes or punishments since all that matters is our genuine faith and sincerity towards Him. Some say that the term ‘punishment’ is not godly, while everything assumed as darkness for them comes from the adversary devil. Looking back to the history of the bible, almost every deliverance or transformation in the direction of righteousness comes through little pain or trouble – as it is recorded for those who interpret the words according to their convenience. At this point, it is imperative to understand the functioning attribute of God, in terms of darkness – as it is written in Romans 1:18-19, NIV-bible; “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them”.

When the Bible talks about the lack of knowledge, it could be the lack of faith as well; or else the deeper meanings of words become invalid or submerged in the truth of ignorance. The bible declares that without faith no one could possibly understand or accept God. Even though bible defines the term ‘Faith’ viably (Hebrews 11:1), many are confused yet about its application in their daily lives. Tentatively, a total submission to God is needed for each and every little thing in our lives, I guess. And it would definitely help to understand the word ‘Faith’ effectively. This concept of submission goes well with the written words in Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV); “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light”. Amen
