Bible often talks about the will of God, beginning of the Old Testament and throughout. And the succinct of all those words can be found particularly in the New Covenant faith. It is written in Romans 12:2; “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” In other words, our prayers and pleads should not be for our provisions in this world necessarily, but for fulfilling the above mentioned requirements of renewing our minds. Truth to be told, provisions are the gifts given freely to everyone – as bible comments in Matthew 5:45, “God causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous”. In fact, all that we need in this world is given already as we’re predestined, and also because of the given promise in Matthews 6:33.
The word of God says in (John 10:27-28); “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand”. So, God has to make us perfect in order to keep us with him forever, not to waste us away – in a sense, He will never allow the evil to snatch the chosen people out of his hands, when they are in his circle of love. This is so encouraging words, as we would experience the most brilliant life in this world, in accordance with the settings of our mind that matches with Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior.
Furthermore, the word of God says, be holy as I am holy (1 Peter 1:16), be perfect as I am perfect (Matthew 5:48). The Lord wants us to be perfect as his holy priests, to the extent that he can cleanse us daily with his blood (1 John 1:9), in order to provide us with a constant and unbroken fellowship with him. Amen
