All things God work for good, for those who love Him!

Reflecting on true Christian believers – everything works well for them as they believe that God is in control! And it’s absolutely true since the Bible declares that the word of God is full of life and promises – yet, with a condition; these things only come to pass for those who love God, says the word. Scanning the entire bible, it has been noticed that loving and worshipping God is not practicing alone any particular rituals or verbal prayers necessarily, but living in the word of God with great priority. In other words, obedience plays the key role ever in godly matters – specifically obeying the word the God as you live and practice with them. It is also written in John 14:15; “if you love me, you will keep my commands”. As a result, having the real faith and love of God surely returns godly behaviors in men.

The hallmark verses in Romans 8:28-30 says; “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, the one who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified”. A perfect declaration of the bible that confirms the privileged salvation for those who are in Christ as predestined! Beware; some ignorant souls may negate this divine truth of predestination, since they are much afraid to accept the written facts in the bible – as they have always desired to hold on certain favorable verses out of convenience by rejecting the rest as superfluous.

But as many fret on the idea of mentioned preferences, think how God can work in the midst of sins? As a matter of fact, the heavens cannot operate in the darkness but light, and that explains the constant need of washing our sins with the blood of Jesus – necessitating the chosen to become holy and righteous in the course of time. The word of God says in 1 John 2:3-6, NIV-bible; “We know that we have come to know Him if we keep his commands. Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.” Surely the forgiveness patterns explained in the bible are divine, but to the extent that the bearer understood and swallowed its full concept for the sake of keeping him/her holy in their given life indeed.

Therefore, as we see ourselves in the light of faith, believe that we are chosen where there is a need to love God while being obedient to Him always. And let us call off everything that hinders the holiness in our lives – which is for the sake of the Lord. Amen

Chosen People (Royal priesthood, Holy nation, and Peculiar people)

True believers of Christ are unique as they stand-out always from the world and its interactions. Having said that, the true believers are not to be excluded from the rest of the world, as they are dedicated to live righteous by obeying the word of God with much humility and love! It is written in 1 Peter 2:9-10; “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy”.

No one is righteous by birth, but it is the call of the Lord to your spirit. As per the bible, you have received the mercy at the pace of your faith, as you are obliged to pass it on within your limits. You don’t have to be mixed up with the corrupted to display your love and compassion, but to hold on to your patience with humility. The truth is – to show love and compassion, there are no any compelling requirements of being closely associated with the needy or sinners – as your merciful heart and willingness without partiality is much valued instead. There is nothing wrong to give out mercy since we have received it freely as God’s chosen people.

We might fret that there are verses in the Old Testament bible which says that God made a covenant with Israelites not to indulge or associated with the sinners (Exodus 34:10-14), but the New Covenant bible promotes the love without judging anyone since God made his son Jesus Christ, the pioneer and the perfecter of our faith. Though the blueprint of all God’s decrees stands on the inevitable standards of holiness, the Old and New Testament Bibles have nothing to differ from the basic fundamentals of the heavens!

Though there are many arguments that chosen people mentioned in the bible are only Israelites, who can deny the fact about the still missing ten tribes of Israel, which is supposedly scattered and lost in the vast spans of this world. Believe that if you are called by the Lord, there is a valid reason behind. Now, we are called out from the darkness to do the good works of the Lord. Once we were not the people, but now we are the people of God. We were not given mercy, but now we have the mercy from the Lord as you are a believer. We are now a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that we may declare the praises of him who called us out of darkness into his wonderful light. Amen

The Magic of Wisdom:

The word of God says in Proverbs 8:12-21; “I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence; I possess knowledge and discretion. To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have insight, I have power. By me kings reign and rulers issue decrees that are just; by me princes govern, and nobles—all who rule on earth. I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity. My fruit is better than fine gold; what I yield surpasses choice silver. I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice, bestowing a rich inheritance on those who love me and making their treasuries full”.

Apparently, there is an inevitable connection between Jesus Christ and the above said wisdom mentioned in the bible. Though there are various verses in the bible talks about this mystery; the outstanding one is written in 1 Corinthians 1:30; “It is because of him (God) that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption”. Besides, the bible narration of wisdom and the personified character of Jesus Christ show many similarities – and it’s quite compelling to comprehend that Jesus is the wisdom from God.

Therefore, seek wisdom which is the ultimate realization of Jesus Christ in person, where everything is compiled for a good reason in the lives of chosen people. And believe in our hearts that wisdom is the key for righteousness, justice, love and prosperity. In addition, wisdom is one of few things you might receive without any condition, says the bible – as it is written in James 1:5, “If any of you lack wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you”. Once again, desire and search for Jesus Christ in your life – and you will find the wisdom, both to live in this world prosper and to have the salvation in the end. Amen
