Reflecting on true Christian believers – everything works well for them as they believe that God is in control! And it’s absolutely true since the Bible declares that the word of God is full of life and promises – yet, with a condition; these things only come to pass for those who love God, says the word. Scanning the entire bible, it has been noticed that loving and worshipping God is not practicing alone any particular rituals or verbal prayers necessarily, but living in the word of God with great priority. In other words, obedience plays the key role ever in godly matters – specifically obeying the word the God as you live and practice with them. It is also written in John 14:15; “if you love me, you will keep my commands”. As a result, having the real faith and love of God surely returns godly behaviors in men.
The hallmark verses in Romans 8:28-30 says; “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, the one who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified”. A perfect declaration of the bible that confirms the privileged salvation for those who are in Christ as predestined! Beware; some ignorant souls may negate this divine truth of predestination, since they are much afraid to accept the written facts in the bible – as they have always desired to hold on certain favorable verses out of convenience by rejecting the rest as superfluous.
But as many fret on the idea of mentioned preferences, think how God can work in the midst of sins? As a matter of fact, the heavens cannot operate in the darkness but light, and that explains the constant need of washing our sins with the blood of Jesus – necessitating the chosen to become holy and righteous in the course of time. The word of God says in 1 John 2:3-6, NIV-bible; “We know that we have come to know Him if we keep his commands. Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.” Surely the forgiveness patterns explained in the bible are divine, but to the extent that the bearer understood and swallowed its full concept for the sake of keeping him/her holy in their given life indeed.
Therefore, as we see ourselves in the light of faith, believe that we are chosen where there is a need to love God while being obedient to Him always. And let us call off everything that hinders the holiness in our lives – which is for the sake of the Lord. Amen
